SolarPlus
SolarPlus is Australia’s first web based solar design tool and is a partnership between Snapfrozen, Solaris and the Australian Solar Council.
Snapfrozen designed and developed both the SolarPlus website and the actual SolarPlus system.
SolarPlus allows solar installers to choose a location, design a solar system, then automatically obtain satellite performance information based on the system settings and location chosen. This effectively allows installers to accurately calculate the performance of a system without having to build it first.
This project took over 12 months to develop and required integration with a number of systems and data sets to allow for accurate, real time calculations.
